Season 4 of’ The Last Alaskans’ premiered on Discovery Channel on 25 November 2018 and came to an end on January 27, 2019, after airing down for ten episodes. Those who love this show look forward to season 5, but it came at a shock following Ashley’s blog post.

Ashley Selden posted an unofficial cancellation status on her blog say “We got a call from the Production Company, Halfyard Productions running The Last Alaskans to inform us that Discovery has decided to end the show. Although some other channel might decide to pick up the show at some point, we don’t count on it, and we’re still under the terms of Discovery Channels.”

Discovery has not come out to offer feedback on the claims either the Last Alaskan season 5 is canceled or not.

Heimo Korth and Edna Korth

He and his wife Edna Korth are amongst the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge’s sole legal residents. They have established their home along the Coleen River just south of the Brooks Range, and they relocate all year round around cabins. They are engaged in hunting and fishing for their food, and they tend to be self-reliant.

James Campbell’s 2004 novel The Final Frontiersman: Heimo Korth and His Family, Alone in Alaska’s Arctic Wilderness, came to national attention with the lifestyle of the Korths.

In 1992 he was featured again in PBS’s “Braving Alaska.” He was later featured on VBS TV in 2009 in a documentary entitled “Surviving Alone in Alaska.” Eventually, in 2015 his family created a series called “The Last Alaskans,” which was broadcast on Discovery Channel.

Bob Harte. (Dead)

Pre his death; Bob Harte became renowned for his role in the TV series, The Last Alaskans. Just as the title presupposes, Bob was one of the men to survive in Alaska.

The TV star Bob Harte was born in New Jersey, United States of America, on January 23, 1951. He was Eleanor Harte’s child and Vernon Harte.  Likewise, he is among the white ethnic group. There is no background information regarding his parents, though.

While Bob was born in New Jersey, during the 1970s, he left the life of the town to live in the countryside, close to nature. Furthermore, following his college graduation, Bob relocated Alaska at that time; he was 21 years old.

Throughout the third season of “The Last Alaskans,” Harte was notably missing, which led to much uncertainty. It was subsequently released through a public announcement that he had decided not to go on shooting scenes because of several health problems. His declining health was later identified as a cancer by-product, and he decided to take some time off to recover from the illness.

Bob Harte’s sudden demise saddened many of The Last Alaskans fans on July 26, 2017. The star was reportedly found dead in his sleep on 22 July 2017. Following the announcement, his memorial took place at old Chena on 29 July 2017.

He’s survived by his children and wife, as well as numerous service dogs during his stay in Alaska. His favorite spot to go to was a location he called the Throne, a high rocky outcrop overlooking the river near his home, according to his obituary.

Sister Joanne, of Charlie Jagow, is currently a pediatric nurse at the Fairbanks Memorial Hospital. She got the job after graduating from the University of Alaska Fairbanks with a nursing diploma. Charlie, on the other hand, has his fair share of schooling too.

He has attended Lathrop High School according to his Facebook profile. Unlike his son, however, Charlie preferred a more secluded lifestyle to train as a Refugee in the art of trapping, constructing and restoring wooden cabins and all-round lifestyle knowledge of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR).

Charlie is the youngest and must do everything possible to achieve the greatest results in trapping. Jagow built himself his cabin, cutting down the trees and stacking logs with the meticulous precision and endurance of a mathematician. During the cold temperatures, he had been very transparent about his hardships.

Charlie files his plane besides hunting, but with this freedom, it comes to great danger. Because of the river flow, it continually shifts into its ‘landing strips.’ Without warning, the flight windows narrow, and the weather can turn deadly during the winter.

He’s concentrating upon how to make hunt meat for the winter, though.  The speculated that the reality star was no longer were allover if you follow the show.  Charlie, however, is still alive and in good health. Krin Nelson and Scott Nelson

And while her parents are still living in Alaska’s snowy lake, Krin and her sisters have gone on with their lives since then.

Krin had made some appearances on and off on the show; she never worked as a full cast member. While Krin may not come on the show so often, she loves to visit her family now and then. Her family follows along on those trips, and Heimo and his grandson are completely smitten.

The Last Alaskan Lewis Family

Ray and Cindy Lewis, along with their daughters Molly, Emma, and Sarah, were on the first season of the show that aired on Animal Planet, and the second season that moved the series to the Discovery Channel. But, they were not listed in the season-three declaration, and they were not in the series. They have not returned for four seasons.

While there’s a lot of interest in the Lewis family — judging from internet searches and social media conversation — their absence has never been discussed on television. We’ve got a correct response as to why the Lewis family is no longer part of the cast of The Last Alaskans despite being enjoyed by fans and the production company of the series.

Unfortunately, since the series is based on life in the refuge, it has been challenging to feature the Lewis family and stay true to the film. “In other words, real-life has taken the Lewis family away from the subject of the series: the people who spend their lives in the few remaining cabins inside the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. And so without them, the Last Alaskans moved on.

What’s happening with the family now that they’re not on television?

Ray and Cindy stay in their houseboat. As per the Discovery Channel, Sarah, the youngest daughter of Ray and Cindy, still lives with them on a houseboat. Molly, Lewis’ oldest child, works in Oregon as a wilderness guide. Similarly, middle sister Emma has also relocated away from home, collaborating with former co-star Charlie Jagow.

“[Emma’s] partnered with Joanna’s sister Charlie Jagow, teaching and racing sled dogs,” said the publicist. “She’s in sled dog racing and had helped Joanna in the Yukon 300 run already.”

During the show, the appearance of their eyes was subjects of some pretty severe cyberbullying while on the show. Molly, Emma, and Sarah all suffer from Blepharophimosis, ptosis, epicanthus inversus syndrome (or BPES), a hereditary disorder. Cindy was born with the condition — the symptoms of which included eyelids with “droopy” and irregular eye-opening development and passed on to her daughters. Maybe the cyberbullying led to them leaving the show though no evidence to prove.
